"Passing wadi Rahaf on omegas is like emerge unscathed... "
At the end of Passover week we would like to offer you a fun adventure for the whole family! You can bring little kids with you (starting from age 6), get together with friends, or make a surprise for your beloved. Rahaf canyon is favorably different from other Dead Sea canyons. It has beautiful white polished rocks and narrow fun passages. And also it has big and small pools filled with water that we can "fly over" (read about it below). The route is relatively simple and it allows us to make a lot of fun on ropes and rocks, with synchronized descends and omega "flights"! The greatest holiday active rest guaranteed!
What is omega? Omega (troll crossing) is a system of rope fastenings tied through impassable section of the path, for example, river or precipice.
In winter canyon Rahaf is full of water and its passing seems like "synchronized swimming" with ropes or short distance swim.
We offer you the unusual way of passing this canyon.
Usually in canyoning tourists are descending to the water and then swim the short distance to the shore. We, on the other hand, tie the omegas across the water and get our participants to the other side by the air.

Men would have a real opportunity to be true gentlemen - when necessary, go into the water and help the ladies. Women, just like in old times, would feel true ladies that men literally carry in their hands.
Our group will pass or rather fly over the waterfalls of Rahaf, and at the end of the trip will descent the 50-ty meters negative angle slope which falls into the magnificent natural "circus".
We recommend this tour even to those who has been in Rahaf before!

There is no need in previous experience or special physical training for participation in our tour. Throughout the whole journey you'll be in the good hands of our experienced instructors, who will provide your safety, help you in the difficult places and support you with the kind words :-)

Tour Itinerary
We meet in evening at the overnight place. Spread the tents, make the table and BBQ. Get to know each other, talk, eat and sing. PLEASE NOTE! We cook and buy food for evening meal by ourselves. The distribution of the food products for purchasing among the participants we do on Thursday after closing the registration for the tour.
We rise in the morning (approx. 7 a.m.). Fold the tents, dring coffee with cookies, get the backpacks and start the trip.
We start to climb up the canyon slope to the plateau and then enter the canyon.
We come to the first slope, get the instructions for rappelling process, put on the rappelling equipment and start descending. At some places there will be Omega to overcome the water pools.
We rappell down all the canyon (the highest slope is about 35 meters) till we get to the bottom of it. We hike back to the cars, return the equipment, share the impressions and celebrate the fun day and new friendship by drinking coffee on our way back home.
Tour price - 250 ILS for each participant.
Tour price for NON-Israelis - 90 USD for each participant. The price includes tourist insurance fee.
