Question: I don't have a car. Do you arrange transportation?
Answer:
For tourists from abroad Q-Terra arrange transportation from hotel and back.
For Israeli citizens, Q-Terra does NOT arrange transportation. However, we can assist you in finding hitch hike with someone that arrives to the same tour and has a car. In this case we kindly ask to pay 50 shekels directly to the car owner. This money does not included in tour price. It is a symbolic participation in fuel expenses of car owner.
Question: What should I take with me to Canyonning or Caving tour?
Answer:
For tourists from abroad - You should take following for the one day tour:
- sport footgear like sneakers (must have)
- headdress for sun protection (must have)
- camera
- sun protection cream
- sun protection eyeglasses
- spare clothing (if you go to water canyonning)
- small backpack for the above
- good mood! (must have)
We will take care about the rest:
- food and drink during the tour (sandwiches etc.)
- headlamp
- protection gloves for descending on rope
- other canyonning or caving equipment
For Israeli citizens - You should take following for the tour:
- tent (only for two days tour)
- sleeping bag (only for two days tour)
- sleeping mat (only for two days tour)
- headlamp
- protection gloves for descending on rope (in stores like Tambur or ACE)
- sport footgear like sneakers (must have)
- headdress for sun protection (must have)
- 3 liter of water for each participant (must have)
- food for tour day (sandwiches etc.)
- camera
- sun protection cream
- sun protection eyeglasses
- spare clothing (if you go to water canyonning)
- small backpack for the above
- good mood! (must have)
Please, tell us during enrolment if you want to rent one of following: blanket, air bed, tent, gloves, headlamp.
You should take care of batteries "AAA" for the headlamp. We provide you headlamp without batteries.
Question: What time tour is finishing?
Answer: The time of passing the route depends on group quickness. Usually we finish the route in about 6 o'clock in evening.
Question: What is minimal age children can participate in Canyonning or Caving tour?
Answer: There is no monosemantic answer to this question. This is since children of same age can differently perceive the surround. In general, children from age 7-9 can participate.
Question: What is maximal age one can participate in Canyonning or Caving tour?
Answer: There is no limitation in maximal age. It depends on your state of health and personal feelings. We had an experience with 70 years old people in our tours.
