Eilat Adventures Canyon Botam!
|
First time in Q-Terra!
We would like to invite you to participate with us in an unusual journey. Make together the long-awaited personal adventure - rappelling in Botam canyon in Eilat mountains.
Canyon Botam has one of the most breathtaking views in the country and is situated right above the famous stone park Timna that charms even experienced traveles who have "seen it all".
Here will be all the elements of the real trip - steep climb to the top of the mountain, two 80 meters high slopes for rappelling, intersting bouldering in the canyon's riverbad and the fairytail beauty of the Timna rocks ("Solomon's Pillars", "Stone mashrooms" etc.)
Our adventure trip will be even more interesting since Q-Team is going to Botam canyon for the first time! And it means that new and exciting discoveries will be on our way which isn't happening every day!
In addition to our quest in Botam, we're going to visit Eilat where we can try intro-diving (even with dolphins!), extreme segwtey trip in the palm plantations, eat sea food and enjoy the lovely Red Sea!
Q-Terra guarantees:
1. The unusual photographs.
2. The tour you will not forget in the next 10 years.
3. The feeling of envy of those to whom you will tell about the place where you have been.
Our warmest recommendations! |

Tour Itinerary
We meet in the evening at the overnight place. Spread the tents, make the table and make an easy late dinner.
We rise in the morning (approx. 7 a.m.). Fold the tents, dring coffee with cookies, take the backpacks and start the trip in the Timna park (there is an entrance fee).
We start climbing up the mountain with an astonishing view. On the plateau we hike to the entrance of the canyon. While hiking, look carefully on the ground, there are lots of fossils!
We come to the first slope, get the instructions for the rappelling process, put on the rappelling equipment and start descending. There are two slopes of 80 meters high each. After the descents we hike and boulder the canyon's riverbad.
We return to Timna, if time allows, check the surrounding and make wonderful pictures. After that we take our cars and drive to Eilat for overnight on the Red Sea beach.
We spread the tents, make dinner, swim in Red Sea beneath the stars, talk and relax after canyoning.
