Al Maria is one of the most unpredictable canyons of the north part of the Dead Sea. Wild, a little distant, it tries to hide its beauty and thus attracts even more. Every visit to Al Maria canyon is like a new discovery, a test for love and friendship. Every slope is like a stone sculpture, reviving fantasy and imagination. A photo camera is a must in this tour!
Another feature of this canyon is its "Stone Maiden" piece of art - the huge rock which has a clear form of enormous woman. Must-see!

The trip consists of the desert hike from kibbutz Metzoke Dragot to beginning of the Al-Maria creek, rappelling of 5-7 slopes up to 60 meters height and beautiful route through the bed of the Wadi.

There is no need in previous experience or special physical training for participation in our tour. Tour starts - Friday 20:00.
Meeting place - The gate of kibuz Mezoke Dragot. map
After arriving will have evening meal and then passing the night in tents. In the morning we'll start the route .
Approximate tour end - Saturday 19:00
You should take following for the tour:
- 4 liter of water for each participant - must have!
- headlamp - must have! (if you don't have it tell us in notes when you register)
- 3 batteries AAA for headlamp must have!
- protection gloves for descending on rope (in stores like Tambur or ACE) - must have!
- sport footgear like sneakers
must have!
- headdress for sun protection must have!
- food for tour day (sandwiches etc.)
- camera
- small backpack for the above
- tent
- sleeping bag
- sleeping mat
- sun protection eyeglasses
- sun protection cream
- good mood! must have!
The number of participants is limited!
Tour price - 250 NIS for each participant.
