Hot air balloon is simple and genious humankind invention. Hot air ballooning types
CHAMPAGNE FLIGHT
This is the most popular kind of hot air ballooning. According to the tradition that started since first test balloon flights in 18-th century, after the successful flight, pilot and passengers used to open a bottle of champagne and make a toast for a great flight. These are the origins of the flight's name and the tradition is kept until this day.

FLY AND DRIVE
This is a fascinating combination of hot air balloon flight and ground orientation. Usually "Fly and Drive" is a group activity for families, friends and co-workers. The group of participants is divided into teams: the "Air" team and the "Ground" team.
The "Air" team is soaring into the sky while the "Ground" team is boarding the equipped jeeps and follows the balloon, keeping in touch with the passengers and seeking for the alleged landing spot. After landing, the teams switch places and start over.
The ground tracking of the balloon is an essential part of the flight. Though, the area of the landing is usually known in advance, you never know the exact place of landing, so the support jeep team is nesessary for they keep an instant radio connection with pilots and help with the landing procedure.

AIRLIFT
The hot air balloon can be used not only for flying, but also as an original and fun observation spot in any historical place with an open space.
The balloon is anchored in a specific way to the ground, and with a special cable is lifted up in the air to the height of approximately 100 meters. The passengers in the basket can see the historical place and its surrounding from an unusal angle and take great pictures.
Airlift can be place almost in any place with enough open space for balloon. It can be Masada fortress, Tabor mountain, The Sea of Galilee and even Eilat.
This activity is great for groups

- The best time of airlifting is the morning hours

How does hot air balloon flight work?
Usually the flights start early in the morning. You arrive at the starting point by yoursef between 5 and 6 a.m.
The team of pilots will meet you at the spot and make you fresh morning cofee and croisan.
While you enjoy your coffee, the team starts to prepare the balloon and gondola (the basket) for the flight. You can take part in the process if you want, following the instructions of the pilots or take pictures of how magically single piece of material become giant balloon.
When all is set, you get the nesessary instructions of proper actions during the flight and landing, wave goodbye to the ground team and...take off to the skies!
After the landing you will meet the jeep team who followed the hot air balloon. In a little celebration ceremony you will open the bottle of champagne, receive the personal parasailing certificate and a little memorable present. After that you will return in the jeep to your car.

Preliminary requirements for the flight
- There is no weight limit for hot air balloon flight, but it is nesessary to inform us about your weight for picking the size of a gondola.
- The flights are suitable for children from the age of 6. Children from age 6-13 must be accompanied by adults.
- The flight is prohibited for women in pregnancy.
- We do not recommend to bring alcohol on board. Also, avoid taking precious posessions. Q-Terra is not responsible for the possible damages of personal things.
- You should bring comfortable clothing and sport shoes. Don't forget your sunglasses and camera.

In winter season the flights are strongly depended on weather conditions, so you will receive the final confirmation 2-3 days prior to date of the flight. Due to weather conditions the flight can be cancelled or moved to another suitable date.
In summer season it is recommended to book the flight at least 14 days prior to the desired date

The price for hot air ballooning is very flexible, taking into account different kinds of flights, total duration, number of participants and other conditions. It ranges from 250 USD per child to more than 350 USD per adult.
